The last eight weeks have been nothing short of an emotional and economical roller coaster ride. While countries were closing their borders, companies were also laying off millions of the global workforce. Unlike most layoffs that we've seen in the past, the layoffs during the pandemic did not discriminate against any industry or field.
U.S. unemployment numbers alone have approached 15%, the highest jobless rate since the Great Depression.
Unfortunately, many skilled talent branders were casualties of the layoffs. As a community, TBA members chose to get together to find ways to help out those of us who have been impacted. Our board members, and several helping hands within the community came together. Lots of personal stories and private tips were shared. Here's some of what we discussed that we can share publicly:
Boolean Search Strings
Whether you're searching for jobs on LinkedIn, Indeed, or Google, here are some Boolean Search Strings to assist you along the way. If you’re unfamiliar with how to use them, you simply just need to drop them in the search box on each page, and hit enter!
Bonus points for adding location filters based on the search engine options, and/or key terms for city, state, and zip/postal code.
