Multiple EVP Personalities — Let’s Make It an Impactful Reality

Creating a company’s Employer Value Proposition (EVP) is no easy task. Ask any talent brander, and they’ll tell you all about their struggles and victories along the way. Nevertheless, developing, communicating, and embedding the EVP within a company is crucial for any organization that wants to attract the right talent. That’s because the EVP is the baseline for any employer brand, and it exists whether it’s spelled out or not. Read more from TBA Member Gabriela Torres.

Tools, Tech, and Talent Brand: Shag / Marry / Kill

Let’s face it, the talent brand tech stack is oversubscribed. #TBSummit Update: This time, it's Virtual

Like you, we’ve been counting down the days to July 7-9, 2020 when we can learn and connect with our talent brand peers over some serious s’more roasting, tomahawk tossing, and live band karaoke belting at Talent Brand Summit. And we’ve really been looking forward to bringing our community together again. As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, our top priority remains protecting the health and safety of our attendees, facilitators, and the greater community.

With this in mind, we have decided to go virtual with Talent Brand Summit 2020.

We've been watching the global stage, following updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as our local Austin situation (0 reported cases of COVID-19), and have stayed focused on the upcoming event. However, one very important thing remains out of our control: corporate travel restrictions.

We've decided to reschedule the Summit for July 7–9, 2020. Same agenda/days, different dates.

Talent Brand Awards Are Coming to America

Let me make something abundantly clear: I’ve never taken awards too seriously.

Why? It’s not because I’ve never been recognized or won one of them. I have. And it’s not because I’ve been snubbed by awards or other recognition platforms. That’s happened too.

There are numerous lists that an HR technology vendor has cobbled together to raise its brand awareness. Want to get the eyes of your audience on a piece of content? Highlight the people who already have the gravitational pull of your audience’s attention. So you might say I’m a bit numb to being in someone’s promotional listicle. This is not that.

They represent a large established SaaS company, an airline carrier, and a couple of gig-economy companies. Throw into the mix, a talent and brand leader from a print and digital news media powerhouse, as well as a leader from a certain social network and you’ve got recruitment marketing knowledge in spades.
