Talent Marketing Expert 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Talent Marketing Expert, are to implement strategic efforts to ensure a positive, consistent candidate experience through all Talent Acquisition touch points to enhance Bayer’s employer brand.

• Establish key strategic initiatives to identify new opportunities, and inform media strategy, creative direction, and messaging;

• Partner with the Recruiting and Sourcing teams, (HR) Communications teams to develop and leverage content that will assist in the attraction of talent;

• Focus the organization’s efforts on priority talent marketing strategies and tactics (e.g. company career sites, social media pages, search engine marketing, mobile technology, etc.) to articulate Bayer’s employer brand to both internal and external audiences;

• Enhance awareness and attractiveness of Bayer as an employer among target populations; also enhance Bayer’s reputation as a premier life sciences organization;

• Stay abreast of trends and create strategies to sustain competitive advantage through social media and other technology;

• Collaborate closely with the University Relations Expert to drive social media efforts and connect with dedicated online groups;

• Develop and implement a talent marketing program designed to create a talent pipeline of active and passive candidates by increasing

the employer attractiveness of Bayer; programs to include recruitment campaigns (with a sharp focus in social media);

• Continually improve the talent marketing program with innovative strategies that anticipate changes in candidate preference;

• Determine how to articulate core employer brand messages in all talent attraction strategies;

• Support the development of the local social media strategy in alignment with the global social media strategy by keeping abreast of digital marketing best practices and solutions;

• Increase Bayer’s talent acquisition presence and interaction on social media sites (local career website, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.) to generate candidate flow;

• Build local social media and branding partnerships that support Bayer’s talent acquisition goals;

• Create and maintain up-to-date content for local Bayer’s career website as well as content that employees can use to elevate and amplify the Bayer brand in their own social media presence;

• Partner with media sources across the country to continue to position the company as an employer of choice;

• Conduct in-depth target group analyses for all target groups in collaboration with Sourcing Specialists & Talent Relationship Managers; develop and elaborate targeted marketing materials;

• Plan, design, align and steer the execution of tactics (e.g. events, fairs, etc.) by closely aligning with TA Assistants "Talent Marketing" to receive efficient and effective execution support and achieve excellence also in Talent Marketing execution;

• Track and measure the performance effectiveness of all employer branding strategies and tactics.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing / Communications, HR or related field;

• Relevant working experience - 7 or more years with BA/BS or 5 or more years with Masters in Marketing / Communications, HR or related field, experience in developing and executing Talent Marketing activities;

• Strong business acumen;

• In-depth understanding of defined target groups and high labor market expertise;

• Strong knowledge of Talent Marketing strategies / development of Strategies;

• Solid knowledge of recruiting market/ requirements;

• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders;

• Good project management skills;

• Excellent skills in social media;

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills;

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;

• Strong negotiation and consultation skills;

• Ability to work under pressure;

• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, with ability to work under pressure;

• Strong technical skills, including MS Office applications, Bayer CMS and CRM tools and social media platforms.
